Corrado DeGasperis, Chairman & CEO


Corrado DeGasperis is a systemic manager, entrepreneur, developer, public company executive, financial expert and governor and a frequent public speaker on macro-economic issues, including U.S.

monetary policy, fiscal policies, central bank activities and the role of gold-money in a capitalist system. He is currently the Executive Chairman and CEO of Comstock Mining Inc. (NYSE: LODE) and has recently facilitated the formation of Silver Springs Capital Partners LLC and Comstock Capital Partners LLC, for the purpose of developing systems-based, Northern Nevada sourced, opportunity fund investments based

on throughput and conservation-based economics. Mr. DeGasperis was the CEO of Barzel Industries (NASD: TPUT), and operated a network of 15 manufacturing, steel processing and distribution facilities in the United States and Canada and previously the Chief Financial Officer of GrafTech International Ltd. (NYSE: GTI), a global manufacturer of industrial graphite and carbon-based materials. Mr. De Gasperis was also a certified public accountant with KPMG LLP, serving major clients like General Electric and Union Carbide Corporation. KPMG announced his admittance, as a Partner, effective July 1, 1998. 

 

Mr. DeGasperis is a founding member and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, the Chairman of the Board of the Virginia City Tourism Commission, a Director of the Gold Hill Hotel Inc., the most historic, continuously operating Hotel in Nevada and a director of the Nevada State EB5 Regional Center, a congressional established vehicle for promoting U.S. economic growth. He is also a Member of the Northern Nevada Development Authority and the Northern Nevada Network.
